Individual Nutrition Counseling

Individual Nutrition Consulting:

Private nutrition services are offered either via phone and Internet where you can be at the comfort of your own desk or home or in the office of Food Therapy located in Lafayette, Louisiana.

Individual nutrition counseling to help meet individual needs. There is no cookie cutter meal plan, instead a personalized approach.

During the initial consultation we will help to determine what the key areas that needs to be focused on to improve your nutrition. Together we then create a nutrition plan with 35 customized meal options that can meet your needs. Throughout this process I take into account your personal food preferences, travel schedule, favorite restaurants, family life and time constraints. You will leave feeling confident that the plan created is made specifically for you, to help you reach your goals.

Providing individual nutrition services for:

  • Weight Loss
  • Decreasing body fat and increasing lean muscle mass
  • Sports Nutrition
  • Eating Disorders
  • Pre and Post Natal Nutrition
  • Food Allergies and Sensitivities
  • Celiac Disease
  • Medical Nutrition Therapy (including high cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, and IBS)

Follow Up Consultation:

During your 30 minute follow up consultation we will re-assess how your current nutrition and plan is working and discuss goals and strategies to keep moving you forward. If we have already met for an initial consultation, then a follow up session is a great way to stay focused and accountable on your nutrition plan and also LEARN how to eat instead of learning how to “diet”. Follow up consultations can be done either via phone or in my office. So, if you are feeling you need to “re-group” get focused and back on track, then schedule your session today!

Metabolic Testing:

Using the Med Gem, we test how many calories you are burning at rest. Trying to lose weight, increase muscle mass, improve performance – knowing how many calories you burn at rest and how many calories you need a day is essential in helping you reach your goals.
