What makes me different than anyone else?
Honestly, I don’t know.
What I do know is that this world is filled with some pretty amazing people.
People who have taught, mentored, challenged, and disagreed with me.
People who have inspired, believed in and loved me, even when I stopped believing in myself and wanted to give up.
People who are experts in nutrition, wellness, business, design, parenting, life-coaching, accounting (definitely not me), and so on. You get the point.
For years I asked, “Is there really a need another person dishing out advice, spreading inspiration and sharing knowledge & opinion on health, wellness, business, and lifestyle?”
I kept telling myself, “No, there are enough people and experts out there who can do those things, use your gifts to do other things. You don’t need to put yourself out there.”
But the thing is, we can only run and hide from what we’ve been called to do for so long.
Eventually, that pull for our life calling gets so strong that we can’t ignore it anymore.
Eventually, we begin to understand that we (yes, I mean both you and I) were designed to thrive.
And once we get to that place, it’s no longer about me and my work or you and yours.
It’s about us.
You and I were designed to thrive. We need each other to do it. We need more than one person or one approach.
So here I am, sharing pieces of myself to help you know that yes, you can keep going.
Yes, you can do hard things.
No, you don’t have to do it all today nor do you have to go alone.
You are enough just as you are.
Your mistakes are ok. People are more forgiving than we give them credit for.
And for the love of ice cream, just keep showing up. Show up for yourself. Show up for your work. Show up for your people. Show up for us and the world we are living in.
As you can see, this ABOUT section is not really about me at all.
It’s about us, elevating up.
It’s about rising not only personally and professionally, but rising up in our community and beyond.
It’s about lifting up not only ourselves but the people around us.
