Yvette Quantz RD, CSSD, LDN, CLT is a well respected registered dietitian and nutrition expert. She is board certified as specialist in sports dietetics as well as a certified therapist for food sensitivity testing and treatment.
In 2008, she opened Food Therapy with a fresh, holistic approach to nutrition consulting and considers the whole person – their personality, lifestyle, family, and career – as integral parts of a successful overall nutrition plan.
With over ten years of experience in the field of health and nutrition, Yvette provides counseling to both adults and children and specializes in working with clients on: weight management, sports nutrition, food sensitivities and food allergies, eating disorder treatment and recovery, and prenatal nutrition.
Taking a creative and very personal approach to food and nutrition counseling, Yvette works with clients to help them fuel their body and their mind. She believes proper nourishment of the body, mind, and spirit leads to long term success.

Yvette is the author of “The Little Black Book of Foodspirations®” as well as the visionary for the Foodspiration® product line. Yvette firmly believes that every individual has the power to achieve their maximum potential. Sometimes though, we just need a little more inspiration and motivation of how to get where we are going!
As a writer, Yvette has been published in several magazines and newspapers, including: The Daily Advertiser, Acadiana Moms, FACE Magazine , Inform, Sophisticated Women, D Magazine and Looks Magazine.
She is currently the media spokesperson for the Louisiana Dietetic Association, as well as the newsletter editor for Nutrition Entrepreneurs and on the SCAN’s mentoring board for sports dietitians. She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Louisiana Dietetic Association, Sports Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutritionist, and Nutrition Entrepreneurs. She also served as the treasurer of the Acadiana Nutrition and Dietetics Association during the 2011 – 2012 year.
A graduate from Louisiana State University with a BS in Kinesiology, she went to pursue a second degree in dietetics and nutrition from Nicholls State University. She completed her dietetic internship in 2003 at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Yvette lives in Lafayette, Louisiana with her husband Matt and two daughters, Lucy and Mattie.
