Fueled with a passion for educating and inspiring people to elevate up, Yvette Quantz RD, CSSD, LDN, CLT is a registered dietitian and lifestyle nutritionist.
In 2008, she opened Food Therapy with a fresh, holistic approach to nutrition consulting and considers the whole person – their personality, lifestyle, family, and career – as integral parts of a successful overall nutrition plan.
With over twenty years of experience in the field of health and nutrition, she provides counseling to both adults and children and specializes in working with clients on weight management, sports nutrition, food sensitivities, eating disorder treatment and recovery.

Taking a creative and very personal approach to food and nutrition, Yvette helps her clients learn to fuel and nourish their minds and body.
Her philosophy is simple when you feel when on the inside, you can the nourish and elevate those around you. And that right there is how we can all begin to make a difference in this world we live in.

As the Eat Fit Acadiana Operations and Marketing Dietitian, Yvette collaborates with local chefs, restaurant owners, and community leaders to increase awareness and improve access to healthy foods.
As a writer and nutrition entrepreneur Yvette is the founder of Customized Nutrition Newsletters, a professional content solution service for other health and wellness experts. She is also the author of “The Little Black Book of Foodspirations®” as well as the visionary for the Foodspiration® product line. Yvette firmly believes that every individual has the power to achieve their maximum potential. Sometimes though, we just need a little more inspiration and motivation of how to get where we are going!
She has been published in several magazines and newspapers, including The Daily Advertiser, Acadiana Moms, FACE Magazine, Inform, Sophisticated Women, D Magazine, 337 Magazine, Looks Magazine and more.
Giving back to her community and profession is important. She currently serves as the Healthy Eating Task Force Leader for Healthy Acadiana and Community Advisory Member for The Junior League of Lafayette. She’s also served as the media spokesperson for the Louisiana Dietetic Association, the newsletter editor for Nutrition Entrepreneurs and on the SCAN’s mentoring board for sports dietitians.
As an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Louisiana Dietetic Association, Sports Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutritionist, and Nutrition Entrepreneurs, Yvette is consistently working to expand her understanding and knowledge of nourishing an elevated life.
A graduate from Louisiana State University with a BS in Kinesiology, she went to pursue a second degree in dietetics and nutrition from Nicholls State University. She completed her dietetic internship in 2003 at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina.
Yvette lives in Lafayette, Louisiana with her husband Matt and two daughters, Lucy and Mattie.
